This term Room7 Te Pahu school have been learning about energy. We wanted to learn a bit more energy so thats what we made our inquiry .
We did heaps of experiments to show us how energy works like a slinky you rattle it and this line moves across it and comes back its kind of like sound waves and we put our ear against the desk and tapped it it sounded alot different than if you did it without your ear on the table.
Sound travels at 352 metres per second when light travels at 276 000 000 metres per second. there are lots of different types of energy like kinetic potential sound heat electricity light and magnetism.
